The design is so cute and it makes my daughter the belle of her swim class. The fit is a bit snug. I ordered medium which is from 18-22 lbs. My daughter JUST reached 18 lbs and it seemed like it was just barely fitting her. She also has chubby legs and it seemed like the elastic was too tight around her legs. But we'll see how it fits as the months pass
